I'm an Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Kansas
State University in Manhattan, KS. My primary
research areas are in moral theory, and I'm especially
what one is rationally obligated to do when one is morally uncertain,
how one's beliefs affect one's moral obligations, and
the nature of moral motivation.
Most of my work falls within the subdiscipline of
metaethics. However, all of my work is directly related to
applied moral problems—specifically, to how we frame,
deliberate about, and debate those problems.
